Once again, AHDB Exports will be taking a stand at Fruit Logistica to showcase Great Britain’s horticulture and potato industries.
AHDB Exports will provide a high profile platform from which exhibitors from across the horticulture and potato industries can showcase their products to over 67,000 trade visitors.
Fruit Logistica, 8 – 10 February, offers our exporters strong networking opportunities and international export and business leads. To support horticulture and seed potato producers, AHDB will host 8 exporters enabling them to exhibit at this world-leading event at significantly reduced costs.
This year we have exhibiting, Science and Advice for Scottish Agriculture, James Hutton Ltd, Jepco (new this year), Isle of Ely (new this year), Angus Soft Fruits, AC Goatham & Son and Bedfordshire Growers (returning for the second year).
Gary Taylor, AHDB Horticulture Chairman, said, “Growers that have taken part in previous year’s events have been really positive. The soft and tree fruit industries have taken advantage of this platform but there are opportunities for other crop sectors. Fruit Logistica provides an effective platform for exporters and importers to engage and develop business, to identify new opportunities and learn about global markets and developments.”
“As our business expands we need to work with partners not just in the UK but also in key markets around the world,” added Carol Ford, Commercial Director, AC Goatham & Son.
“Demand for quality British produced goods and services is increasing, and food produced here in the UK is seen as the best in class quality wise. Now that we are working on modern systems and infrastructure, we need the overseas markets in order to develop our business into a world class and leading player in fresh fruit.”
This year’s stand will offer co-exhibitors their own branded booths, which include plasma screen computers, comfortable seating, a private meeting room a substantial hospitality area with complimentary refreshments throughout the show.
